Give a Bear a Den
|
Give a Bear a Den is the Center's way of helping teddy bears receive a home. The Center has many teddy bears that are looking for a loving family to adopt them. The bears are dressed to the "T" and come with a biography, birth certificate and adoption papers. The bear adoption fees vary. The bears can be adopted by contacting the Center at exchgclb@bellsouth.net or (205) 801-5151.
Sam was born December 14, 2004 in Oak Park, Illinois. Sam loves "choo-choo"
trains. That explains the outfit! He loves to watch Thomas the
Train. His
Brian loves to fish. His foster dad has taught him how. Brian grew up in an abusive home and ended up being removed from his parents. He was born November 2, 2001 in Salem, Massachusetts.
Doogie. What more can you say? Doogie is an intelligent cub that loves to learn. He reads adult education books for fun. Doogie can already name all the bones in the bear anatomy. He loves to play the board game Operation. His attire may give it away, but I must tell you, he aspires to be a doctor. Doogie was born April 13, 2001 in College Corner, Ohio.
M.J., born October 4, 2001 in Little Rock, Arkansas is definitely the class clown. He is so silly and tells jokes all the time. M.J. loves sports. Basketball is his favorite, he is a great ball player. If you adopt M.J. you will always be laughing. He definitely will bring a smile to your face.
Hawkeye was born September 11, 2001 in Washington, D.C. His foster family has lived on numerous army bases, so Hawkeye is quite the traveler and adapter. Hawkeye wants to serve his country when he grows up. He loves to play army and run.
Tom is a strong-willed and stubborn cub. He has a knack for details and loves challenging tasks. Puzzles are his favorite past time. Tom was born February 23, 2001 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Stephanie was born in Paradise, Michigan on May 25, 2005. Stephanie loves to interact with other bears. She is silly and genuine. She loves to play with her toys. Her favorite color is lavender.
Julie is a timid cub. She loves to lounge and sleep. She snuggles in her covers and hibernates a lot. Julie was born in Fernley, Nevada on September 27, 2001.
Lacey, a delicate cub is already cub crazy. She was born in Sacramento, California on August 23, 2003. She says she has three boyfriends already and is deciding which one she likes the best. She wants to marry the cub she chooses. You have your hands full with Lacey!
Ethan is a curious bear. Ethan loves science and loves to conduct science experiments. He also loves to catch butterflies. His favorite foods are sandwiches and chips. He was born in Portland, Oregon on June 4, 2000.
Madison was born January 1, 2000 in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Madison loves to jump rope and play hopscotch. She is a great cub and gets along well with others. She will get you to play hide-n-seek if you take her home.
Jodie was born in Poarch, Alabama on October 13, 2002. She lives on the Poarch, a Creek Indian reservation. She is looking for a den that will accommodate her Native American heritage. She loves dancing and her favorite color is blue.
Clint was born March 22, 2001 in Calvert, Maryland. He loves his anatomy outfit. Clint can name almost all the bones in the cub body. He wants to be an Orthopedic Surgeon when he grows up.
George, a "little cub" was born July 21, 2000 in San Francisco, California. George can be another Tiger Woods. He loves to golf and is very good at it. George enjoys watching cartoons. His favorite color is brown.
Charlie, a quiet but charming young man, was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He was born April 23, 2004. Charlie loves Halloween and loves to dress up. He puts this costume on everyday and even wants to sleep in it. Charlie loves candy and his favorite color is orange. |
